Snippets House

I've managed to make a card for this weeks Less is More Challenge, it's recipe week and we are to use snippets.

I have glued lots of little snippets to a piece of copy paper and then used a Marianne die to cut out a house - I'm still making 'I've Moved' cards for my Mum!


I have also die cut a little border from another snippet using a Lawn Fawn border die and added a little twine bow.

Work!

I have another little vintage card to share today, a masculine design this time.


I have used a Studio Light kit along with some My Mind's Eye papers.  All of the edges have been inked with Distress Ink and I have added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the embellishments.

Flight School

Another Christmas card to share today, I used a fabulous kit from Paper Creator called Flight School - it is actually a book card kit but I used it to make a traditional card.


This fun kit has a decoupage image, so after cutting it all out I layered it up using foam pads and 3D glue.

Fishy Kisses!

Winter Wonderland

I was determined to join in with the Rudolph Days Challenge this month, so I have made this card with a Paper Creator Kit called Walking in a Winter Wonderland.


It is a jumbled pyramage image and I have layered it up using foam pads and 3D glue.


The sentiment is part of the kit and the star is a Die-namics die cut, I also added some pearls from my stash.

I have a little beach themed card to share today, I have used another topper and papers from a Studio Light kit along with some additional Studio Light papers.


I have inked the edges of everything with Distress Inks to try and give my card a rustic feel.

The perfect blend!

This is my card for the new Challenge at House-Mouse and Friends Monday, it should have been posted on Monday, better late than never!

The current challenge is House Mouse and a Friend, alternatively you can enter an Anything Goes card just as long as you use a House-Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image.

I have used an fun image from Joanna Sheen's House-Mouse Food and Drink 2 Decoupage Collection and papers from NitWit Collections.


I tried to give this one a bit of a rustic feel and used Distress Inks to ink the edges of everything.


The sentiment and flowers are also from the NitWits collection, I cut them out, inked the edges and layered them up before placing a pearl from my stash in the centres.

Winter Elf

A couple of weeks ago I didn't think I was ever going to type this again but very generously Erin has offered to take over the running of the Crafting for all Seasons blog, thank you so much Erin.

So once again I can say - It's time for a new challenge at Crafting for all Seasons and the theme for the next fortnight is Christmas in July.

For my card I have used the sweet Winter Elf image from our sponsor Scrapper's Delights.


I have coloured her with my Spectrum Noir markers and added glitter to the fur on her hat and dress. My papers are from the Nitwit Collections Christmas Linen bundle along with the sentiment.

All hearts come home ...

I'm sharing another Christmas card as a little reminder about the current challenge over at the Paper Creator blog.  Our theme for this month is Christmas in July and I have used the fabulous Comfort and Joy Jumbled Pyramage kit.


I cut out the jumbled pyramage and made up the topper using foam pads.  I then created an additional base layer using some Nitwit papers and added the topper.


I also decorated the inside of my card.

Season's Greetings

It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La Creations and the theme for the next fortnight is Christmas in July.

I have used a gorgeous Christmas image and papers from my favourite Ooh La La Creations The Shawn Jenkins Collection CD to make my card.


Everything on my card is from the CD except the card stock and ribbon.  I used Kraft card stock and inked the edges of the papers and image with distress ink - the border is an X-cut border punch

My Sweet Sunflower

Birthday Giraffe

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme is Birthday Wishes chosen by Kevin.

I decided to use one of the Card Topper Digi Kits called Giraffe Pink to make my card.


Everything you need comes in the kit, including decoupage layers, sentiments and an insert, I have just added an additional orange layer on the bottom.


I cut out the decoupage layers and built them up using foam pads, I also added extra card stock between the layers.

Merry Christmas to 'ewe'

I've made it!  This is my final card for Bugaboo’s Fifth Annual Christmas in July week long event, the final theme is Pick a Present and I have chosen:  Image, Twine, Charm.


My image is the fun Merry Christmas to 'ewe' image, I used Spectrum Noir markers for the little bit of colouring and added some glitter to her hat and 3D Crystal Lacquer to the candy cane and her eyes.


The border is a Fiskars edge punch and I added a twine bow and candy cane charm from my stash.
