Mint and Blue

I have another of my Mermaid cards that were published in the July edition of Making Cards Magazine to share today

I  was asked to create the Editor's Selection cards using the super Mermaid Folk papers that were free with the magazine and also available on the free CD.  The aim of these cards is to show what can be created using just the free images and papers along with some basic stash items, a bit of a challenge!

I added a little mint card stock to the papers on this card and matted and layered the image a couple of times.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon from my stash.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Designs - Anything Goes Craft Your Passion Challenge 326 - W, E3 - Always Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door  Challenge - Always Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting my blog today, your company is much appreciated.

Wow, what a fabulous card, I hope the Mermaid was from the papers as it must have been a nightmare to colour otherwise. Great papers.

I really like the mint and blue pairing. It rather tones down the whole piece since the mermaid herself is so busy and a riot of colors.

This is perfectly designed. I like this layout of plain paper and a patterned one, separated with a ribbon.
